The Rewards of Volunteering
Murtoa Museum is open every day from 12 noon until 2pm and the gift of volunteering keeps our Museum open, operational and interesting.
If you like meeting people, or you have skills you would like to share as a volunteer or you would like to learn new skills, volunteering can be a satisfying and rewarding experience.
By volunteering, you are doing something important for the community and at the same time make new connections and friendships.
Or are you interested in learning the history of Murtoa and passing this knowledge onto others?
We welcome people of all ages and walks of life and as much or as little time that you can give.
And you don’t need to be an historian!
Helping at the Museum offers a range of opportunities and activities such as; meeting tourists, promoting Murtoa & district, maintenance (gardening & cleaning), cataloguing, digitising, re-labelling, promotions, online activity, research and events.
If you have a little bit of spare time and would like to be part of this great Museum, email Murtoa Museum.
